What Santa Means to Me!
Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas or simply "Santa", is a figure of legend or myth. Santa Claus lives in the North Pole, with a lot of magical elves, who helps him make toys and flying reindeers, who helps him deliver these toys. He brings gifts to the homes of the good children during the very late evening and overnight hours of Christmas Eve, December 24.
Although, Christmas isn’t about presents or gifts, it is about what children like me have to do so we can get a gift from Santa. He brings presents to the children of the world because it reminds us that in Jesus’ time, He Himself was a gift to all the people from God the Father. So when we hold a gift it brings to mind how Jesus was God the Father’s gift to all of us. In addition, without Jesus being born and given to mankind, then there would be no Santa Claus or no Christmas, just as there would be no us or people who look up to our Savior. Santa Claus also helps us children in being good because we all do not want to be on the “naughty list” and we also do not want to be bad in Jesus’s presence. Nonetheless, we should remember Christmas is a time to love and celebrate Jesus’s birth, because without Him we will not have Christmas and Santa. Jesus in Santa Claus is the one who reminds me what Christmas is all about. Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy Birthday, Jesus!
